Terms and Conditions – Online Shop Sales

Please read these conditions carefully before placing an order with Vale of Rheidol Trading Ltd 

By placing an order with us, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions. 

We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

Prices of all goods for sale are shown on the website and include VAT where this is applicable.

Our Contract

Your order is an offer to us to buy the product(s) in your order. When you place an order to purchase a product from us, we will send you a message confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order (the “Order Confirmation”).

The Order Confirmation is acknowledgement that we have received your order, and does not confirm acceptance of your offer to buy the product(s) or the services ordered.

We only accept your offer, and conclude the contract of sale for a product ordered by you, when we dispatch the product to you.

Without affecting your right of cancellation set out in the returns policy below, you can cancel your order for a product at no cost any time before we send the Dispatch Confirmation relating to that product.

If the item is unused, in its original packaging and accompanied by a valid proof of purchase, we’ll offer a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Placing an Order

To place an order, select the item by pressing ‘Add to Basket’. To make payment, select ‘Checkout’ and enter your details. You must accept the Terms and Conditions to continue.

Click on ‘Pay now’ to make the payment using our Payment Provider – Dojo

You will receive confirmation of your order by email. You should check your order and delivery details and contact us by email or phone as soon as possible if there are any errors.

Delivery is by Royal Mail or another courier service. Fees are based on weight and the number of items ordered. Cost of postage is clearly shown in the checkout section.

Orders are usually shipped within 72 hours. Orders are checked and posted daily (Monday – Friday) when trains are running between April and October. Orders are checked and posted 3 times a week November to March, unless otherwise stated.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

We will endeavour to replace any goods received that are damaged or faulty, or offer a full refund if it is unavailable. You will be required to provide proof in the form of photo images or by returning the item.

Returns Policy

We hope you love your order, but if for any reason you would like to return it, our returns process is simple. Your item must be unused / unworn and in the same condition you received it.

Returns Instructions

You can cancel your order without giving any reason within 14 days from the day on which you receive the goods purchased.

To make a return, please follow our instructions below:

  1. Send an email to shop@vor.wales within 14 days of receiving your goods to notify us of the return.
  2. Return the item(s) to the address below within 28 days of receiving the item/s. Please make sure to include your order number. Clothing items which are being returned due to incorrect sizing can be returned opened as long they are unworn, and the tags are attached.
  3. The return shipment cost must be paid by you and will not be covered by Vale of Rheidol Railway, unless the item is faulty. We would recommend that you use recorded delivery.
  4. Once the returned item/s has been received and processed by our warehouse, we will issue you a refund within 14 working days. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction. We will withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back.

Faulty items

If you have received a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, please contact shop@vor.wales with details and an image of the fault and we will advise you further.

    We aim to respond to emails within 3-5 working days. Please note that our working days do not include weekends or bank holidays.
