Description
The journey begins in rural environs and runs through peaceful pastures and woodland. Some of the beauty of Wenlock Edge could be enjoyed, but it was also home for several limeworks. The once heavily industrialised area of the East Shropshire Coalfield was traversed at the end of the trip. Thus variety in everything appears in a multitude of diverse views from the past.
