Tim Wood has complied this illustrated guide to ScotRail’s present day train fleet. Train types are arranged in class order, starting with DMUs and followed by HSTs and EMUs. The Class 314 EMUs, withdrawn in 2019, are also included along with the Class 365s that briefly operated in Scotland in 2018 and the Class 68 diesel locos used on Fife Circle loco-hauled trains between 2015 and 2020. Each photograph has a detailed caption, with some passenger saloon and cab interior views included as well as train exteriors. Most of the trains illustrated are in ScotRail Saltire livery but a few examples in older liveries such as SPT carmine & cream and the original Strathclyde Transport orange & black are also featured. 72 pages, A4 softback with approximately 140 colour photographs.
